Wabbal talks about the journey of continuous travels of the artist — that belonging is not limited to a specific place and that age is measured by days, not years.

Through this installation, Wabbal aims to convey the idea that belonging is not limited to a specific place and that age is measured by days, not years. Instead, belonging and age accompany us wherever we go and at all times.
Therefore, the story of Wabbal is referring to our long journeys intake from our age, along with our belonging to every place we have visited and left some part of us in, including our time.
Each cane has the carved date of the year — from January 1st to December 31.
